Call Systems, Buzzers, Pagers and Monitoring devices
We have a range of products to help family, carers and support staff care for people at home, in a hospital or supported accommodation.
Call Systems and Devices
Our Call Devices allow a person to alert their carer when they need assistance. The Radio Linked Call Buzzers and Call Pagers are simple to set up at home or in supported accommodation. Many hospital call systems cannot be managed by people with disabilities. We can add alternative access methods to existing call buttons, or fit sensitive electronic replacements.
We offer a range of Nurse Call Interface Adapters that allow any of our light pressure switches to be used with most hospital and nursing home call systems. Read more about our access to existing Nurse Call Systems.
Landline and Mobile phones
We have a range of fixed line, cordless and mobile phones with features to assist people with vision, hearing and memory impairments. Our affordable range of Assistance Call Telephones has some unique emergency alarm functions. When an alarm is activated, the phone automatically dials family/friend helpers and plays a pre-recorded message.
Patient Monitoring and Fall Prevention
People with certain disabilities including dementia may be in danger of
wandering at night; might fall over or harm themselves. Let us help you
find ways to look after your loved ones and keep them safe, either at
home or when in respite or supported accommodation. Our Aged Care products can add to an older person's safety, independence, ability to communicate and quality of life.
Technical Solutions supplies a range of monitoring devices that notify carers when a person at risk of a fall moves from a bed or chair.
Our range of Bed Alarms, Door Alarms, Floor Sensors and Movement Sensors can be used as an aid when caring for patients or relatives with dementia and others who are at risk of falling. The alarm is triggered if the person is mobile, alerting carers who can intervene and assist.
When used in hospitals and nursing homes these alerting devices can either be connected into an existing nurse call system or be set up with a 'stand-alone' buzzer or pager system. They are an aid for patient care and should not be considered as a substitute for adequate quality staffing.
