The chair pad sensor is 35cm x 20cm and is normally placed on the seat of a chair.The patient rising from the chair will trigger an alarm that alerts the carer.
The chair pad is connected to a transmitter. When the patient gets out of the chair, the receiver carried by the carer will sound the alert. There is no sound from the transmitter, while the receiver has adjustable volume. Both transmitter & receiver require 3AAA batteries,and can also be used with a plug pack. One plug pack is supplied with the kit , recommended for the receiver. The pager has an excellent range of up to 50 metres, suitable in most homes.
Kit includes - Chair pad, transmitter, receiver, batteries and a power supply (this can be used with either the transmitter or receiver to save on battery use.
