Special Module - Switch Director - one switch, two outputs

The Technical Solutions Switch Director will send your switch pulses to the device you want to control. Two or more switch activated devices of almost any type can be controlled with the switch director, contact us for advice.  Plug your switch into the module and plug the output leads from the module into your other devices. Then the Switch Director can connect your switch through to the device you wish to control.

Let Your Switch Control More Than One Device

Below is a typical operation.  (Other options are available)

• Switch presses of a short duration will activate the currently selected output.
• To change the selected output, press and hold the input switch until the Switch Director beeps. (one beep to change to output one or two beeps to change to output two).
• Subsequent presses will be directed to the other output.

Here are some examples of what you can do with one switch

• Use an Environment control unit (ECU) to control your TV as well as call for help via a call buzzer or SOS alarm (Vital Call or similar)
• Connect to a multi button remote door opener to open your front door, back door and gate!
• Call for help via a call buzzer or nurse call system then use your scanning communicator to explain what you need.
  
  

Where are the devices that you wish to control located?

This Switch Director has a single switch input and 2, 3 or 4 switch output leads. These leads can plug directly into the devices that you want to control.  If one or more of the devices are located remotely we can supply a Switch Director with a built in radio transmitter for wireless control - Useful for controlling devices remotely from a wheelchair - no wires attached!
